Hannah Montana’s Cody Linley was in NYC last week to host the SEGA launch of Super Monkey Ball Step & Roll for Wii,
which launches in stores tomorrow and retails at $49.99. Cody took a
few moments for a quick Q&A to discuss gaming and upcoming projects.
Are playing video games one of your favorite pastimes?
“Yes, I love video games. I play pretty often, especially with my brothers and my girlfriend.”
What gaming system do you prefer and why?
“The Wii is great, because it’s so interactive and makes it fun to play with everyone.”
Is Super Monkey Ball Step & Roll your favorite game?
“I have a few actually; I like Wii Sports Resort too. We like playing archery and bowling, stuff like that.”
What are some of the other games you like playing?
“Definitely Wii Sports Resort and Guitar Hero—we play Guitar Hero on the “Hannah Montana” set.”
Do you have any special techniques or tips you can share with other gamers?
“You just have to have fun when you’re playing.”
What’s new with your character Jake Ryan?
“Well, I can’t say much, but you can definitely expect there to be a lot of drama!”
Anything exciting coming up for you? Any other upcoming projects you would like to talk about?
“I’m actually working on a musical called “Over Here”—it’s a 1940s musical where I play Bill, a young soldier going off to war. I’m really excited about it, because I’ll be able to sing, dance and act.”
